MyEDD – Login to UI SDI Online Services

MyEDD is a secure login that connects you to Unemployment Insurance, Disability Insurance, and Paid Family Leave benefit services, as well as Benefit Overpayment Services. In June 2023, myEDD replaced the former “Benefit Programs Online (BPO)” system.

If you have a benefit overpayment, you can manage it with Benefit Overpayment Services. To get started, you’ll need a personal email address that is used only by you. If you don’t already have an email account, you’ll need to create one.

MyEDD Overview

myEDD is a secure web portal provided by the California Employment Development Department (EDD). It connects users to online services for Unemployment Insurance (UI), State Disability Insurance (SDI), Paid Family Leave (PFL), and benefit overpayment management.

Essentially, myEDD centralizes many of EDD’s online benefits and claim tools in one account.

Employers, medical providers, and voluntary plans also use myEDD to access SDI Online. After creating this account, you’ll have easy access to UI Online for Unemployment Insurance benefits and SDI Online for Disability Insurance and Paid Family Leave benefits.

Anyone with a personal email address can create a myEDD account. New accounts go through a secondary registration process to use UI Online, SDI Online, and Benefit Overpayment Services.

Note for UI Online Customers: You must have an Unemployment Insurance (UI) claim and your EDD Customer Account Number to register for a UI Online account. Visit UI Online for more information.
